The Lamb & Flag Welney (Norfolk) Great pub, lovely Sunday lunches, (Book well in advance) but the beer garden swings it for me, lovely place to stop and sit outside. You can pick almost any route to get there, all of them will lead you down unkept fen roads, some good, some bad... Take your pick. Peter V
Darby's Swanton Morley (Norfolk) www.darbysfreehouse.com Truly epic food, and has a nice range of well kept beers for those that like a wee half. Head along the A1101 to Shippea Hill, then turn off to Lakenheath, Brandon, Thetford. Then up the A1075 through Watton, Ovingdon and Shipdham to Dereham, then to Swanton Morley. Return through Gressenhall, Litcham, then either down to Swaffham, A1122 to Downham Market & A10. Ken H
